ABOUT US
The Batukee Rethinc Impact Collaborative is rooted in undoing systemic, transnational white supremacy in work and impact environments. Systemic white supremacy affects how we are together, across lines of difference, in profound and consistent ways regardless of geography.
White supremacy was dispersed and implemented by European Empires' representatives to every colony around the world as they were transporting - not only enslaved people - but core philosophies, stereotypes, and beliefs meant to justify the dehumanization of Black, brown, and Indigenous people as well as codify control, superiority, and power for white people.
Acceptance of these ideas (racist ideas) happened at gunpoint, through the education systems, within families and governments, and with laws and norms in Brazil as much as anywhere else in the world.
Batukee walks with wisdom and expertise in the way these matters manifest in Brazil.
Rethinc, a diverse American team, has earned respect globally by making constructs of white supremacy tangible and healing important and possible.
Together, we help leaders navigate power dynamics and build relationships regardless of racial differences and national boundaries.
